Photochromic Lenses

Photochromic lenses are the tint altering lenses that combine fashion, comfort, durability, and performance no other lenses can provide. Within 15 seconds of exposure to sunlight, wearers will notice the difference.
All photochromic lenses are Anti-Glare coating compatible.

Transition Lenses
Indoors or outdoors, day or night, Transition Lenses make available the visual comfort of a special changing tint that lightens and darkens as the light changes. When exposed to UV rays, Transition Lenses change. The higher the UV, the darker the lenses. The lower the UV, the lighter the lenses. Car windows and windshields are already treated to block ultraviolet rays, patients should consider having a fixed tint for driving in very bright sun.

Kodak InstaShades Lenses
Kodak InstaShades Lenses give patients astonishingly fast color change from dark to completely light. Patients will appreciate the rapid change to clear, natural vision. The photochromic activity of Kodak InstaShades Lenses resists "fatigue" to keep working longer than other photochromics.

Colormatic Extra
With Colormatic by Rodenstock, the photochromic molecules are built-in to create "in mass technology. This makes the color consistent through every stage of activation. They also will darken as much as 50% in the car.
